NETDEVICES TO PROVIDE BRANCH OFFICE INFRASTRUCTURE FOR INTEROPNET AT INTEROP LAS VEGAS 2006
SUNNYVALE, Calif., May 1, 2006 - NetDevices, a developer of services gateway products for enterprise branch networks, announced today that it has been selected as the primary provider to enable multiple branch office locations in this year’s InteropNet at Interop Las Vegas. Given the growing importance of branch office networks for today’s CIO, the InteropNet will feature branch locations for the first time in the show’s history.
Interop Las Vegas 2006 will take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center from April 30 to May 5, 2006. The InteropNet, managed from three network operations centers (NOCs) on the show floor, is built in collaboration with hand-selected, innovative vendors and volunteers, who will come together to provide reliable, high-speed networking services to all Interop exhibitors, conferences, and meeting rooms.
Serving as a core infrastructure component within InteropNet, NetDevices’ SG-4 Services Gateways will manage WAN access, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, and QoS for the two branch offices on the show floor.
Tours of the InteropNet will be given at 11:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, and Wednesday, May 3. Tours will also be available at 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4.
This year's InteropNet features 24 vendors and services, including AGN, APC, Apposite, Aruba, Avaya, CA, ConSentry, Coyote Point, Extreme Networks, Fluke Networks, Gigamon, GroundWork, IBM, Internap, Juniper Networks, MarquisNet, NetDevices, Network General, Network Physics, Qwest, Spirent, Splunk, Systimax, and Tandberg.
