NetDevices’ Solution is Astuto Telecom’s Gateway of Choice
Sunnyvale, Calif., July 14, 2005—NetDevices, Inc., a developer of services gateway products for enterprise branch networks, today announced that it has named Astuto Telecom, a systems integrator, services provider, reseller, and Microsoft Competency Center, as the exclusive distributor of its SG-8 Unified Services Gateway in India and the South Asian Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) region. A purpose-built, enterprise-grade solution for next-generation IP networks, the SG-8 simplifies networking at large branch and regional offices by unifying multiple services, including security, VoIP, data, and access, into one always-available, 100 percent remotely manageable platform.
Astuto Telecom will sell the NetDevices solution to systems integrators, private and public enterprises, and service providers throughout India and SAARC. The company will also employ the Unified Services Gateway in its own systems integration and broadband services businesses, where it sees growth in four areas—network security, broadband services, storage, and last-mile connectivity.
