Experienced Executives Head Marketing and Sales Development Efforts
SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 7, 2005—NetDevices Inc., a developer of services gateway products for enterprise branch networks, today announced the appointment of three respected industry experts to the company's management team. Tim Dyer, vice president of worldwide sales; Tim Waters, vice president of marketing and product management; and Mark Weiner, senior director of marketing, have all recently joined the company. Weiner, Waters, and Dyer will be responsible for driving marketing and sales efforts for NetDevices’ Unified Services Gateway. They will develop the company’s communications and global product and sales strategies, and forge strategic relationships with customers and reseller partners.

Dyer is responsible for formulating and executing NetDevices’ global strategic sales initiative. Prior to NetDevices, Dyer was vice president of worldwide sales at Vivace Networks/Tellabs, where he built the field sales organization from the ground up. Before that, he was vice president of Internetworking sales at Lucent Technologies/Ascend Communications, where he was responsible for North American sales of Lucent’s Internetworking product suite, which generated $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Dyer has also held management positions at Bay Networks/Synoptics Communications, Innova, and Professional Management Associates. He holds degrees from Chicago City Wide College and Kennedy-Western University.
Waters leads product management, technical marketing, customer engineering, and develops the company’s outbound channel strategies. Waters was most recently at SkyStream Networks as vice president of marketing and business development. Prior to SkyStream, he was vice president of marketing, business development, and international sales at Celite Systems. Waters was also vice president of marketing and business development for Promatory Communications, which was acquired by Nortel Networks. Earlier in his career, he served as vice president of data product management for Ameritech and held management positions at Paradyne Corporation and AT&T Computer Systems. Waters has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in economics from College of the Holy Cross.
Weiner handles corporate marketing and positioning of NetDevices and its services gateway products. Before joining NetDevices, he was vice president of worldwide marketing at NetScaler, where he built the worldwide marketing efforts and positioning for Netscaler’s next generation data center technologies. Prior to that, Weiner was director of field marketing and global product launches for Juniper Networks, and vice president of marketing at Redback Networks, where he led the company's marketing functions from start-up through successful initial public offering. Weiner also held various marketing management roles at Bay Networks and Ungermann-Bass. Weiner holds an MBA with honors from Santa Clara University and a BA in business from University of California, Berkeley.
